Lunch Information

We hope your child enjoyed our spooktacular meals

We had some spooktacular meals planned for the last week of the month, we hope you checked out our menus online!

We celebrated Mexico with Día de los Muertos, and we hope your student enjoyed Utah’s Great Apple Crunch, featuring delicious local apples such as Pink Lady, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, and Honeycrisp. Thank you for helping support our local farmers by shopping directly from them, visiting farmers markets, or asking for local produce in stores.

This month, we served local potatoes, squash, cucumbers, watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, herbs, and apples. The season is coming to a close, but apples store well and are usually available year-round. Local produce is always fresher, and it tastes great!

We also wrapped up our Indigenous Peoples Celebration with an authentic tribal recipe for Three Sisters Stew. This hearty dish gets its name from the three key ingredients–

beans, corn, and squash–

which were traditionally grown together and supported many different tribes.

It was a delicious harvest blend of vegetables, chicken, and hush puppies, the perfect way to celebrate the season!

  Free/Reduced Lunch

If you qualified for free or reduced lunch last year and feel you qualify this year, please check your student’s account in ASPIRE. If it does not show free or reduced on the account, that means you have not reapplied and been approved. As of Friday, the 22nd, your student will be charged full price for meals.

If you feel that you may qualify, please go to our website and fill out an application.

If you need assistance, please email Mrs. Foxley at lfoxley@northdavisprep.org or, for help in Spanish, Mrs. Smith at gsmith@northdavisprep.org.

Estimados Padres,
