Project One: Military Support Teams Supporting Our Families

Project One is a statewide effort that strengthens support for military-connected students by placing Military Support Teams (MSTs) in schools to provide resources, therapy, and advocacy during frequent moves and transitions. The program builds strong partnerships between school districts and Hill Air Force Base, improving staff understanding of military life and ensuring students receive consistent, high-quality educational support. Its success in Davis County led to expansion across multiple Utah school districts to better serve military families.

Utah Food Bank

The Utah Food Bank is a nonprofit organization that works to fight hunger statewide by collecting, storing, and distributing food to individuals and families in need through a network of partner agencies and community programs.

SafeUT

The SafeUT program is a statewide crisis and safety service that provides Utah students, parents, and educators with 24/7 access to licensed counselors through call, chat, or text. It also allows anonymous reporting of bullying, threats, or safety concerns to schools and law enforcement, helping prevent crises before they escalate. Its purpose is to support mental health, enhance school safety, and ensure students always have someone to reach out to in moments of need.
