I was born in Ogden and grew up on farms in Roy and West Point. I retired four years ago after 32 years of teaching. Being on the staff of NDPA is a great joy as it allows me the opportunity to interact with the students, staff, and school community, and it helps me work on my Spanish.

Currently much of my time is spent volunteering in the natural resource and arts community. I facilitate environmental education classes for the state Division of Wildlife. I am an avid bird watcher, a "twitcher" as the British call them, and enjoy traveling to locations both here and abroad to observe the birds and their habitat. Becoming a fluent Spanish speaker is one of my goals in life.
