Mrs. Coleman was born in Ogden and raised in Bountiful Utah. She is the 4th child of 9 children in her family and from an early age, learned how large groups of children needed to learn and get along. She has spent most of her life in Utah with a short span of 18 months serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Orlando Florida. |
She obtained her early education in Davis County graduating from Bountiful High School. She then attended Weber State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. While at WSU she studied abroad in Mexico for a short time. She loved the experience and feels it has added to her work here at NDPA. Mrs. Coleman did her student teaching in the Davis District and came to NDPA three years ago. She continues to improve her teaching by routinely adding Teacher development classes to her licensing. |

Mrs. Coleman married her husband Chad Coleman two years ago. They are first time home owners in the area and she loves to be outside and work in her garden. She enjoys being supportive as she assists her husband in finishing his degree. Her other interests include travels to new places and venues, painting, reading, cross stitching, and camping with Chad. |
She loves working with the staff, students and parents at NDPA and enjoys her assignments on committees that work to improve the educational experience at the school. |
