Science
I was born in Richmond, Virginia and spent the first dozen years of my life there. My family then relocated to Mt. Pleasant North Carolina. Here I spent six years until my graduation from Mt. Pleasant High School. It was then on to Raleigh and North Carolina State University where I attended and received my Zoology Bachelor of Science. I moved on to the University of North Carolina in Wilmington for advanced certifications and then spent the next 3 years relocating and teaching in Hibbing Minnesota. I have relocated to Ogden Utah taking the Science position at North Davis Preparatory Academy.
During my high school, college and teaching years, I have enjoyed athletics. I played soccer, baseball and basketball. I have been a coach for high school soccer and baseball, softball and middle school basketball. I have also coached in the Veterans of Foreign Wars baseball program which gives boys between the ages of 13 and 16 a chance to play baseball. I have also been involved with Quiz Bowl and Science Olympiad.
In my free time outside of education I can be found snowboarding, fishing, hiking, birding, watching sporting events and enjoying video games.
