Sonja Hammond
USOE Certified Teacher – Highly Qualified

Mrs. Hammond is a licensed level 2 teacher with an endorsement in special education. She is NCLB highly qualified for grades K-8. She obtained a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University. She has worked with a variety of grades to help students find success in the classroom. She has specific training from the BEST institute for dealing with tough kids through assessment and behavior interventions. She also has extensive experience working to help integrate tough kids into the classroom. She currently provides support to students with IEP’s for math, language arts and social/self help skills.

She enjoys spending time with her young family and volunteers in the community.
