Shelly was raised in Layton, Utah. She attended and graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Civil Engineering. She has a wonderful husband and all 4 of her children are attending NDPA this year. In order to be home during the day to raise her children, she currently works part-time at a local dance studio as their office manager.

She has worked on the Jr. High Committee at NDPA for the last three years. She enjoyed getting to know many of the teachers and Jr. High students last year as they all worked together toward a great first year. She is looking forward to another great year.
