USOE Certified Teacher – Highly Qualified

I am proud to say that I attended the University of Utah. (Go Utes!) I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 2004. The following month, I interviewed with NDPA and have loved starting my career with this school. I taught first grade for the first two years, taught fourth grade the next year, and now I really enjoy the third grade.

I was born and raised in Utah and have been able to experience the wonderful sights that Utah has to offer. I’ve been an avid wakeboard enthusiast and snowboarder for years and love to be up in the mountains. I have three beautiful and very energetic daughters who keep me extremely busy when not at school. They do gymnastics, swimming, piano, and many other activities that leave me exhausted by the end of the day.

Lately, I’ve enjoyed singing quite a bit. I am a member of the Utah Oratorio Choir and have sung in several Oratorios and love listening to the symphony. I also take pleasure in yard work and love get my hands dirty. The girls and I enjoy swimming and can’t wait for the summer months to come so we can play in the water. We also go boating quite a bit at Bear Lake and get really sticky while we roast marshmallows by the campfire.

I love the students, parents, and faculty of NDPA. I couldn’t ask to teach in a better, more enthusiastic atmosphere. We are surrounded by individuals who thrive to see the success of students and rejoice in their accomplishments. Go NDPA!
