Monte was raised in South Weber and graduated from Clearfield High School in 1989. He went on to earn a B.S degree in Computer Science at Weber State University and later an M.S. degree in Engineering Management at Florida Institute of Technology. He has held many titles in his life including: Hay Hauler, Water-Pipe Mover, Letter Carrier (just don’t call him Cliff), JDE Technical Consultant, Financial Advisor, Real Estate Investor, and currently, Director of Software Development. But the title he holds most dear is being called ‘Dad’ by four wonderful children.

Monte places a major emphasis on obtaining a good education, and at one time, considered being a teacher himself. He feels that the best way to learn something is by getting in and doing it. He loves finding opportunities to try new things just for the learning experience and variety it provides in his life. He feels that life is to be ‘lived’ instead of ‘watched from a distance’. He enjoys helping others in the community and is honored for the opportunity to serve as a Board Member at North Davis Preparatory Academy.

Monte enjoys all things financial (except paying bills), reading, sports, playing indoor soccer, and watching family learn new things and experience the joy of life. He gets a thrill in watching those around him succeed at the tasks life has given them. He is very proud to be a part of the NDPA legacy.
