Mariam Herrmann
USOE Certified Teacher – Highly Qualified

Mrs. Herrmann is the director of special education at NDPA. She is a professional level Educational Therapist, fully licensed with the state of Utah as a level 2 teacher with endorsements in speech therapy and special education, and NCLB highly qualified.

Mrs. Herrmann obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah in speech and hearing science, and a masters degree from Northwestern University where her educational experience centered on assessment and treatment of learning difficulties. She has additional training in a variety of quality programs designed to help remediate language, reading and math.

Mrs. Herrmann is committed to outcome based curriculum and data collection. She has helped over a thousand students achieve success. In her free time she enjoys her family, supports community groups, hikes, gardens, and snow shoes (in the winter).
