After an incredible year of school expansion, Kurt Farnsworth is ecstatic to continue his administrative career at North Davis Preparatory Academy. He is excited to help the school continue moving forward.

Mr. Farnsworth began his administrative career in Colorado Springs, Colorado as an Assistant Principal at Bricker Elementary.

Prior to being an administrator, he taught 4th grade students at Millville Elementary in Millville, Utah and 5th grade students at Tolman Elementary in Bountiful, Utah. Mr. Farnsworth also spent time working as an ESL teacher and Spanish Specialist, running an after-school tutoring program, and teaching at a summer migrant school.

Mr. Farnsworth graduated from Logan High School, but also attended Payson and Uintah High Schools in Utah. He must love to go to school because he has Bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education, Spanish and Journalism. He has a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and completed the Administrative Supervisory Program to earn his Administrative Endorsement. He received all his degrees from Utah State University – GO AGGIES!

Kurt has four children; two girls and two boys. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family. He loves to watch his daughter’s play soccer, and has coached for the last 5 years. He is excited to see his boys getting old enough to start participating in sports. He enjoys golfing, skiing, and spending time outdoors. His favorite enjoyment is spending time with his beautiful wife Marianne.

He loves being part of the NDPA team. He has a passion for the Spanish language which he speaks fluently and enjoys sharing this passion with the students here.
