Kim Valeika is the mom of three amazing NDPA students (two in the elementary school and one in junior high) and married to the wonderfully supportive and incredible, Sean. Kim has been involved since day one at NDPA. She served as POET co-chair five years ago, chair the following year, and was over Student Events last year.

She loves the enthusiasm and dedication of the teachers, administration, and parents at NDPA. There is a great sense of community that is very appealing.

The Spanish curriculum and the opportunity for a choice in her children’s' education drew her to the school 7 years ago and she and her family have been hooked ever since. Her children love the educational challenges the teachers provide them with.

When not being a busy mom, you may find Kim at a local branch of your library working as a substitute reference librarian. She loves to read, travel with her family, play outside, eat ice cream, play games, and eat out.
