Mrs. Roberts teaches math at the junior high and mentors the math teachers at NDPA. She loves to teach math and plans her lessons to be both interesting and meaningful. Mrs. Roberts has 12 years experience teaching and has spent most of that time in elementary schools where she taught fourth grade and later focused on just mathematics.

Mrs. Roberts received a math and science Bachelors degree in middle grades education from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. Later she received her Masters degree and obtained an early grades add-on certificate. In addition, she earned National Board Certification in Early Adolescence Mathematics. Mrs. Roberts has been recognized for her innovative strategies and dedication as district winner and finalist for Georgia Teacher of the year in 2007. She was also awarded he Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science teaching with a trip to the White House in 2007.

Mrs. Roberts has learned a lot from other educators and from experience and has shared her strategies with teachers at both the local, state, and national level. Now, she is pleased to be at NDPA to support students and teachers and join a team that works together to meet the needs of all learners.

Jennifer Roberts has lived in Georgia until recently when she moved to Utah to remarry. Mrs. Roberts and her husband have a total of five grandchildren that they love. Mrs. Roberts and her husband, Doyle, love to run, hike, dance, and visit with family and friends. They love Utah, but also look forward to frequent visits to the South to visit family and friends.
