I attended the University of Montana in Missoula. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a Literacy Endorsement. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Education in Literacy Education. This is my second year teaching 3rd grade. |

I moved to Utah in the fall of 2006 after accepting a job here at NDPA. I was born and raised in Missoula, Montana. I am the oldest of 2 children. My little brother is a freshman at Utah State University. He is a cross-country and track runner, and I enjoy going to his meets. I’m lucky we live so near each other. As much as I enjoy living in Utah, I LOVE going back to Montana periodically. |

In my free time I enjoy participating in activities that keep my active. I love to run the beautiful trails that we are so lucky to have in the area, as well as mountain bike. I am also a novice skier, though I wish I had more natural talent. I also enjoy keeping up on my reading, as well as watching and attending sporting events. |

I was very blessed to have the experience of traveling to Spain in the summer of 2007. I toured around the country for a month; visiting Madrid, Valencia, Sagovia, and Barcelona, as well as some additional cities. I am glad I am able to share this rich experience with my students. I love to practice my Spanish with them, as well as teach them what I know about the culture. |

I consider myself very fortunate be part of the community of students, parents, and faculty at NDPA. I love this experience, and am proud to call this place my home. |
