Mrs. Linford was born and raised in Southern California. She attended El Camino College and Blair College of Medical and Dental Assisting. She worked in Dentistry for 11 years. Along with managing the office and staff of a four dentist office, she acquired additional certifications in Oral radiology, Coronal Polishing, and Myofunctional Therapy.

In 1975 she and her husband moved from Los Angeles California to Ogden Utah. Her husband is an Optometrist and until coming to North Davis Preparatory Academy, She was the Operations Manager and HIPA Officer of his office. They are the parents of 4 children. A second grandchild is expected in the spring.

Mrs. Linford has been volunteering all her life. She is the recipient of the National Freedom’s Foundation Award for the her work in schools while working with and being a performer in a Southern California vocal group. She served in the Public Relations Department and with the Women’s Endowment Committee of Primary Children’s Hospital. She served as President of the Utah Optometric Auxiliary, held several area leadership roles in her church, served as an Elementary PTA President and as an Executive member of the Ogden High Booster Club.

With her family she has enjoyed organizing music performance and Soccer teams to travel and participate over the world. She claims travel and kids are in her blood.

This is her third year at North Davis Preparatory Academy. She finds the Charter School a refreshing change in Utah Education. Mrs. Linford loves the NDPA atmosphere, challenge and management responsibilities. She finds the children, the parental support, and the dedicated staff most enjoyable. She is glad to have a small part in making “Making a difference” in Education.
