Mrs. Hansen has a double major in both Elementary and Early Childhood Education. She is a graduate of Brigham Young University and is currently working on her Master degree in Education from Utah Sate University. She has been a Kindergarten instructor of over 10 years. She has taught in both the USA and Canada.

Mrs. Hansen was born and raised in Eastern Canada not far from the Atlantic Ocean. She is the oldest of three girls. She is the mother of three children and the grandmother of a 5 year old grandson. She and her husband Randy enjoy spending time together and with their children and visiting the family cottage in Eastern Canada in the summer.

Among her many interests, Mrs. Hansen enjoys world travel, the outdoors; including sailing, canoeing kayaking, hikes, horseback riding and snowmobiling to mention a few. She loves to write children’s stories and routinely shares them with her classes.
