Cristina Bingham

Mrs. Bingham was brought up in the four corners area of Monticello, Utah the oldest of four children. Her parents were both raised in Mexico and made a point of teaching their children the language and culture of the Mexican Heritage.

Mrs. Bingham attended Monticello High School and became involved in several school programs allowing her extensive leadership, school awards, and opportunities. Upon graduation she attended the College of Eastern Utah and continued to be actively involved in her community and college life. Among her varied activities, she worked with the BLM and earned an Archaeology scholarship.

During her time at CEU, she served as the Student Body Secretary followed with a year as Student Body President. She represented CEU as Miss Heritage and had the opportunity to travel and meet with others and stress the importance of education. During this time she also had the honor to assist the Curator of Education at the Cedars State Park in Blanding, Utah with the 20th Anniversary Exhibit for the museum. Mrs. Bingham attended the University of Utah and later received a Bachelors of Education from Utah State University.

Mrs. Bingham recently re-married and she and her husband Matthew, are enjoying the creating a home in the area. Together, they are raising her 7 year old daughter, their pets, and are busy in re-decoration and projects around their home. Mrs. Bingham enjoys scrapbooking, outdoor activities, and reading and writing when time allows. She loves the multi cultural experiences at NDPA and enjoys sharing the various life experiences she is able to bring to the learning process.
