I grew up in small town Roosevelt, Utah and graduated from Union High. I then went to the University of Utah and obtained a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. I completed my Masters Degree in Psychology and earned a School Counseling Credential from Utah State University. I also have an Alternative Route to Licensure teaching license. |

Before becoming a teacher, I worked for Murray School District coordinating and operating after school programs. At Utah State University I helped in the designing of an ESL program for immigrant families. I enjoy teaching and working with kids and can’t really imagine doing anything else. I love working at NDPA because of the community feel to the school. |

I am the younger of two brothers and was born and raised in Utah. I lived for two years on the east coast (Philadelphia area) and gained a love of U.S. history. I am married to a wonderful woman named JulieAnn. We currently have two dogs and they are our children for now. Julie-Ann is finishing up Pharmacy school at the University of Utah and we live in the Kaysville area. We plan on staying in the areafor the immediate future. |

In my spare time, I like to play guitar, drums, and video games. Skiing and golf are two of my favorite things to do, and if they weren’t so expensive, I’d do them much more often. On the weekends, I can be found watching or playing sports and going on dates with my wife. |
