I was born and grew up in Barcelona, Spain. When I was 18, I moved with my parents and my brother to Figueres, Spain, a small town near the French border, where I attended the University of Girona. I studied to become an early childhood education teacher (I only need a few more courses to become certified as a university chancellor). While in Spain I worked as a kindergarten teacher for three years. I also lived in Ireland, where I studied English and met my husband, Antonio!

In 2007, I moved to Utah to teach 3rd grade at NDPA where I continue to improve my English, to learn about the American education system, and to enjoy more of life’s great experiences. In my free time, I love to swim, travel (Europe, Nicaragua & the US), and spend time with my husband and extended family.

Travel is a passion of mine because it opens your mind to new things and gives you an opportunity to experience and enjoy the strengths and differences of other cultures. What I have come to love about teaching is learning about my students’ lives so that we can all be enriched by one another.
