This is my family 3rd year at NDPA and my second year on POET as the Appreciation Events Team Leader, which includes the Parent Teacher Conference dinners for our faculty and the POET Spring Fling. This will also be my 3rd year as a class captain. I enjoy being involved in the school and reading with students in the classrooms. When my kids all began school, my “job” became volunteering in the classrooms as often as I could. I feel that is how we get to know what is going on in our schools. |

I was born and raised in Taylor, UT, a little farming community west of Ogden. I graduated from Weber State University with an Associate Degree in Secretarial. I live in Layton with my amazing and supportive husband, Casey, and 4 wonderful kids (3 of them attend NDPA). When not busy being a mom, I enjoy reading, digital scrapbooking, volunteering for my church, hiking and camping with my family. |

I am so grateful to have teachers who are willing to work together with parents and students to make this the best possible learning environment. The administration, faculty, and staff have been a great support and have done a fantastic job at showing us just how much this school cares about our students. |
