Parents, Friends and Neighbors,
Since NDPA is a State Charter School and the number of applicants exceeds the established ceiling, students are accepted by lottery. When a student is chosen in accordance with the State of Utah approved processes, siblings of the applicant (within the same household) are also invited for admission and are placed on a sibling waiting list until openings are available. Siblings of admitted students are given preference to other applicants.
NDPA, on the same basis as other public schools, will not discriminate in its admission policies or practices.
NDPA accepts admission applications online. The Admissions FAQ can assist you in understanding our enrollment procedures. Once informed, we invite you to make application for the appropriate year.
North Davis Preparatory Academy (NDPA) Open Lottery Enrollment (OE) for the 2012-2013 school year has begun.
The first OE will be held from January 15, 2012 through February 16, 2012. Additional OE’s will be held on an as-needed-basis later in the spring and throughout the summer months.
The lottery will be held after each OE period. Families will be notified via e-mail of their child’s acceptance into the school through the computerized lottery program. Families selected will be notified of the next steps in the registration process and what timeline they will need to follow.
Please keep in mind if you previously enrolled for the 2011-2012 school year and your child was not selected through the lottery program, you will need to re-enroll in the database for the 2012-2013 school year. Students not chosen through the lottery program will not be “rolled over” to the next school year. Siblings of current NDPA students attending other schools will receive first preference.
Students currently attending NDPA need not re-apply through the OE process.
The school does not discriminate in its admission policies or practices on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, disability, or any other protected classification.
